Lesley Ketley

Co-FOUNDER & Swim instructor

I have always been a keen swimmer, and began teaching at the age of 22 for Swiss Cottage Swim Club in London, who sponsored my training.

Life then took me to New Zealand, where I gained a Diploma in Sports Science and worked as a fitness instructor for three years before returning to Farnham to start a family.

Part-time teaching roles at Farnham Sports Centre and Barfield School enabled me to work around childcare for a few years. During that time, I met Vicky and we set-up Dolphins Swim Academy - I can’t believe that was over 13 years ago!

Co-FOUNDER & Swim instructor

I've always been a breaststroke swimmer right from an early age.  However, it wasn't until I became a mum and my own daughter started swimming lessons that I began to think about teaching swimming as a career.

I started as a water helper for St Mary's School in Frensham and absolutely loved being in the water with the children, so 'plunged into the deep end' and took my ASA teaching qualifications Level 1 and 2 back-to-back.

When my daughter became a competitive swimmer with three local clubs I assisted with the coaching.  It was during my time teaching at Barfield School when I met Lesley and we decided to start the Dolphins Swim Academy.

We are a fully accredited Swimming school teaching all levels of swimmers from babies to instructors.
